Have the case details ready
Use the case type, registered case number and year from your papers. If you only have a filing number or a name, find the case details first using the related guides.
Search the court’s order page
Select Open court-order search. Choose Case Type, enter Case No and Year, complete the displayed code, and select Show. An audio option is available for the code.
Read before saving
Open the relevant order if a link is returned. Check the case number, parties and order date inside the document. Save the file with a name that lets you recognize the case and date.
If you cannot find the order
Recheck the case type and year. If you know the order date, try the related date-based search. A missing online result does not establish that no order was made; confirm an important missing document with the registry or your advocate.
Need a certified copy?
A downloaded order and a certified copy are different requests. Use the certified-copy guide below when a receiving office or your advocate asks for a certified copy.
