Keep the filing receipt beside you
Use the filing date recorded for the submission you are checking. Also keep the token or filing reference and party names. If there were several submissions, list their dates separately so you can tell which filing a returned entry concerns.
Search by filing date
Select Open defective-token list. Use Date of Filing; its calendar lets you choose a date. Complete the pictured code and select Show. This starting form searches a date, so your token reference is for checking the returned list, not for a token-number box on this screen.
Match the filing before reading a defect
If a list appears, locate the exact filing reference and compare any identifying details shown. Preserve the complete wording of the matching entry, including any remark or instruction. A similarly named party or nearby token is not enough to identify your submission.
Turn the entry into questions for filing help
For each remark, write down the affected document or detail, the correction you need clarified and who will handle it. Ask the filing advocate or court office how to submit the correction and what timing applies. Keep the original entry with any later correction receipt.
If the entry or page is missing
Recheck Date of Filing before repeating the search. A missing entry does not establish clearance, and a listed defect is not a decision on the case. Use Open e-Sewa contacts for a portal problem; explain which filing date and page failed and keep your receipt ready.
