Prepare

Optional: note the Supreme Court Diary Number and its year if you have them. A Patna High Court case number is a different identifier and may not work here by itself.

Step 1

Open the Supreme Court 'Diary number' status page (the page says JavaScript must be enabled).

Step 2

Enter 'Diary Number *' and choose 'Diary year *' from the list; other tabs shown are 'Case Number', 'CNR Number', 'AOR Code', 'Party Name' and 'Court'.

Step 3

Answer the on-page CAPTCHA question ('Audio' and 'Refresh' are available) and submit on the official site only.

What to check

Compare any returned case with your diary reference and the parties named in your papers.

If you need help

If nothing appears, recheck the identifier and year. Use the Supreme Court’s Contact Us page if the official service remains unavailable.
