Find a Bihar district-court case using CNR

District and taluka court cases use the eCourts Services search. Its CNR entry is different from the split fields on Patna High Court’s website.

This is an independent professional website, not Patna High Court or a government service.

Prepare

Keep the complete 16-character alphanumeric CNR. The portal instructs users to omit spaces and hyphens.

Step 1

Open eCourts Services and select CNR Number if needed.

Step 2

Enter the full CNR in its single search field.

Step 3

Enter the CAPTCHA on the official site and select Search.

What to check

The portal describes this search as access to the case’s current status and history. Compare the identifying details before relying on a match.

If you need help

Without a CNR, choose Case Status for the other search options. A blank result alone does not establish that no case exists.
